Snowmobile Shows

Set To Return

Maybe it's a sign of things returning to normal as the Snowmobile USA Show & Sale and the Wide Open Wisconsin Powersports Show & Swap are set to be held this fall.

The Snowmobile USA Show is scheduled to be held at the Wisconsin Exposition Center on the State Fair grounds October 15 - 17. This is one of the largest snowmobile shows held in America. The WCSA will once again have a booth at the show and a snowmobile safety class will be held on Saturday.

Wide Open Wisconsin Powersports Show & Swap will once again be held at the Washongton County Fair Park September 24 - 26 in West Bend. New for 2021 will be the Grass Drags to be held on Saturday, September 25 and will be sponsored by the New Berlin Suburban Sno-Hawks snowmobile club. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.

WCSA Youth Bowling Event

Big turnout, big fun

After the snow melts and the sleds are put away for the season, what else is there to do other than heading out to your local bowling alley to knock down some pins with your friends. That's exactly what a group of young snowmobilers did as the Waukesha County Snowmobile Association held it's annual Youth Bowling Event. "We had a great turnout this year", said Andy Slaby, WCSA Youth Committee event organizer. He continued by saying, "We had 35 youth bowlers attend, which is a record for this event. Many thanks to everyone who helped and the clubs who pitched in to underwrite this event."

This annual event is free to the children of members who belong to a WCSA member snowmobile club. All the kids were treated to bowling, pizza and refreshments at the Pioneer Bowl in Richfield.

Big Turnout for Youth Ride

Despite cold temperatures, everyone had a great time.

Despite single digit temps the morning of February 6, more than 50 young snowmobilers participated in the annual Waukesha County Snowmobile Association's annual youth ride. The event is held at Monches Rec Park were young snowmobilers were able to ride the 120s around a groomed track, take rides in the groomer, warm up around the bonfire and kids could make custom face masks.

Youth snowmobilers who had their snowmobile safety certificates could participate in the youth ride which started out at Monches Rec Park and stopped at Cindi & Mike's Trackside Bar & Grill to warm-up with a steaming hot chocolate. Below are pictures from the ride.

Many thanks to everyone who made this event possible especially Andy and Jodi Slaby and their family for organizing this annual event and all the clubs and club members throughout Waukesha who contributed to making this event a success:
